AREAS OF SERVICE

The Welcome Center Team at LSBC is the heartbeat of our church's first impression. As a team member, you'll have the privilege of warmly greeting Sunday morning attendees, guiding them through our facilities, and introducing them to the vibrant community that is LSBC. Your role involves providing attendees with essential information, from handing out visitor's packets to escorting newcomers to various areas like the Children’s Ministry, Life Groups, and the Soul Café.

With a commitment of just once per quarter, you'll be equipped with all the tools and support you need, including access to our user-friendly LSBC Planning Center. Join us in making every visitor's experience memorable and meaningful. Your friendly face could be the first step in someone's journey with our church family!
Join the dynamic Children's Ministry at LSBC and make a lasting impact on our kids! To ensure the safety and well-being of our children, all volunteers must pass a background check and be available at least once a month.

Here's a glimpse of the roles you can step into:

Kids Church Small Group Leader: As a leader, you'll warmly greet children as they arrive by 10:15 AM. You'll lead them to the gym at 10:30 AM for worship and a lesson. Post-lesson, guide them back to the classroom for engaging activities, including a fun playground session.

Sunday 9am Discipleship Class Teacher (K-2nd graders): Dive deep into the Word with our kids! Prepare and teach a lesson, and also ensure there's time for a snack and some play.Be a part of our mission to nurture the next generation in faith and fellowship. Your dedication can shape a child's spiritual journey!
The worship of God should be central to the life of every believer and follower of Jesus Christ. It can also be a powerful  experience in helping to draw spiritual seekers closer to the beauty and grace of God. One of the most powerful forms of worship is the corporate, musical worship of God as the Body of Christ gathers on a regular basis. Worship teams play a very important role in the Sunday LSBC services as they use their God-given talents and skills to facilitate corporate, musical worship. Team members work together under the leadership of the Worship Pastor to contribute their gifts to the development of a worship team that leads the congregation to a closer relationship with God.
