On Sundays, God wants us to do more than sing songs together and have a wonderful worship experience. He wants to knit the fabric of our lives together. We are building a worshipping community, made up of individuals whose lives are centered around the Savior Jesus Christ. We recognize that passionate times of singing God’s praise flow from and lead to passionate lives lived for the glory of Jesus Christ.
"How do we worship?" is the most common question that I have encountered since I have been involved in praise and worship services. Worship should be a time that we are in the Spirit, not in the flesh! Our minds should be focused on God. To do that, we must be engaged with God!
We believe that "worship is an engagement with God on terms that He proposes, and which He alone makes possible.” (from David Peterson’s Engaged with God.) We are not looking for a highly polished, musically sophisticated time of singing. No!!
Our goal during worship is to magnify the glory of God, in Jesus Christ through the power of the Spirit. We aim to see Jesus for who He is, for He is worthy of our attention. We invite you to come and be engaged with God as we come before the "throne of grace".
