God desires a relationship with you—but He allows you the free will to choose.    God’s word reveals that He will draw near to us IF we draw near to Him (James 4:8).   Jesus is building HIS church (Matthew 16:18).

While we invite you to attend LSB,  we are more concerned that you plug into a Christ-exalting, Bible-believing, People-loving church.   There are many great churches in our community and there are (sadly) many places that deliver a distortion of the true gospel—truth without grace,  feel-good teachings,  emotion-driven worship,  etc.

We focus on church HEALTH, not church growth.   We know that Jesus is building His church so we don’t have to beg, compromise, or market our way into growing.   We have to be faithful, loving and steadfast.    At LSB we preach God’s Holy Scripture.   The sermons are a mix of topical and by-the-book, and you can currently listen to our podcast on iTunes.

LSB is more than a facility, it is a family with programs for all ages.    Average attendance is around 250-300.   Dress style is nice-casual.   Music is a blend of historic and contemporary.   You’ll find friendly people who are making the Great Commission (Make Disciples) and Great Commandment (Love God, Love People) the foundation for their lives.

Everyone is welcome.   Jesus attracted faithful people, earnest seekers and the broken and hopeless.   We pray that we’ll be like Jesus.  We aim to be a healing place in this hurting world.
